Single & Multiple Dental Implants - Plainview, Massapequa & Levittown, NY

Had Enough of Those Smile Gaps?

Expertly Placed Dental Implants Change Your Life

Even a single missing tooth can cause many problems. It can make you embarrassed to smile or speak. It can make eating some foods uncomfortable. The more teeth you lose, the more likely you are to also lose your self-confidence. We offer a remedy that can make you smile broadly, eat freely, and enjoy a strong self-esteem. Dental implants give you the function and esthetics of natural teeth in an artificial substitute that never develops a cavity or root canal infection. A single dental implant in Plainview, Massapequa, and Levittown, NY can make all the difference in your life.

A team of eight board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons, we’ve each completed at least four years of advanced specialty training that included dental implant placement. Our deep understanding of the oral and facial anatomy and extensive experience of advanced technology and individualized treatment planning empower us to provide the full spectrum of dental implant treatments, from a single implant to full mouth dental implants to complex cases requiring supplemental procedures. Three Steps to a Restored Smile

Step 1: Getting Started
A consultation is the best way to determine whether you’re a candidate for dental implants. This gives us the chance to discuss your smile goals and conduct a thorough examination of the proposed treatment area. Using our low-radiation cone beam (CBCT) scanner, we can capture 3D images that allow us to identify all of the problem areas and develop an appropriate treatment plan. The key to effective planning is guided implant surgery technology, which makes for a smoother and highly accurate implant placement procedure. We can digitally plan each step of your surgery and can actually create surgical guides in-house using our 3D printer. Our team will use these during your next visit—the surgical phase of your treatment.

Step 2: Receiving Your Dental Implants
Before your procedure, we’ll make sure you’re comfortable using anesthesia options such as IV sedation (“sleep sedation”), nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”), or local anesthetic. After deciding on an anesthetic option, we can perform any treatments you may need. These include tooth extractions to remove decayed teeth and bone grafting to restore your jawbone volume. We may also use advanced healing techniques such as plasma-rich growth factors (PrGF) and bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) treatment to improve the effectiveness of these treatments. Once your implant site is prepared, we’ll move on to placement. We first put your customized surgical guide (or guides if you’re having teeth replaced on both arches) for guided surgery over your gums. Guides have holes that align with the areas where you need implants placed. We insert the screw-like implants into your jawbone through those holes, which allows us to place the implants at the precise angle and depth for an efficient procedure and lasting fit. We choose our dental implants based on quality, from top manufacturers including Nobel Biocare, Straumann®, and Zimmer.

Step 3: Fully Reclaiming Your Life
After you’ve finished healing, you’ll see your restorative dentist, who will put your final restorations in place. These will be durable crowns and/or bridges chosen to match the surrounding healthy teeth for a seamless, harmonious smile. With the implant foundation we’ve given you, and your new restorations, you can feel confident that your smile looks the way you want it to, and will stay that way for years to come if you give it proper care. You’ll eat, laugh, speak, and smile without having to worry anymore!
